For information collected through this website — enquiries, the guide-price tool and live chat — the data controller is S&K Group Holdings Ltd (company no. 16703925), Unit 1 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG, the S&K Group company that operates our websites and receives enquiries. When you go ahead with a quote or a job, S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd (company no. 16932889) is the controller for your quote, contract and job records.

We don't sell your information, and we don't pass enquiries to other companies to sell to. Engineers working for us receive the details they need to carry out your job.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and chats that don't become jobs: 24 months.
- Analytics: 14 months.
- Quotes, contracts, job and accounting records: 7 years.
Processors and transfers
We use Netlify (website hosting), Web3Forms (form delivery), Tawk.to (live chat), Google (analytics and email) and Meta (WhatsApp). Some of these process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations.
Do you have to give us your details?
No, but we need a name, a phone number and a postcode to reply to an enquiry, and your address and contact details to quote for and carry out a job. Without them we can't give you a price or do the work. We don't make decisions about you using solely automated processing, and we don't profile you.
How our two companies share your information
S&K Group Holdings Ltd runs our websites and receives enquiries. When you ask us to quote or go ahead with work, your enquiry details are passed to S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd, which prepares your quote, contracts with you and keeps the job records. Both are part of the S&K Group and use your information only as described here.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for information you gave us in a portable format (data portability), and withdraw consent at any time (for cookies, use cookie settings).
